As my ongoing Painting Group from Spring 2024 is full and there has been a wonderful growing interest in participating, I have a new monthly Painting Group starting on Saturday March 1st.
The theme for this 4 part series is Growing Back our Own Hands, Deepening our Fullest Expression for Wellbeing, Wisdom & Joy.
We will mainly be working with body awareness meditation and painting with our hands through transformational arts processes to connect with our own depth, wisdom and guidance through creative practice.
The first 3 hour workshop (of a series of 4) is an introductory session to Expressive Arts Practice, with the invitation to continue for the full series.
This workshop includes:
Teachings on the principles of Expression based on my Transformational Arts training and practice of 15 years.
A pdf guide to accompany the workshop with notes on approaches to Expressive Painting, reflective inquiry based on story, relevant themes based on my underlying soul work of reclaiming skills of the feminine in creative group process, seasonal aspects of our creativity and expression (similar to my Creating with the Celtic Wheel ongoing 6 year project) and approaches to interpreting our paintings.
Body-based energy awareness practice to deepen our awareness and presence
Intuitive Painting Practice using our hands and other mark making tools on large sheets and pallets.
Integration time with writing practice, witnessing and sharing in small group setting.
Introductory price for 1st session: €30
Regular Workshop price after initial session: €50 per 3 hour workshop.
This includes all teachings, guided practice, notes, art materials, facilitation and my preparation.
(From workshop 2 onwards, there is an option to use a canvas provided by me at €5 extra)
Numbers are limited to accommodate large scale painting work using A1 surfaces and palettes as well as time and space for individual and group support and sharing during each session.
